What to expect
Cotswolds Country House is a four-bedroom self-catering cottage in Kingham — one of the Cotswolds’ most celebrated villages, just a mile from the train station and a short walk from two outstanding gastropubs.
With space for up to eight guests, the house has everything you need to properly unwind: a large open-plan kitchen with a Smeg range and island, two reception rooms, a log-burning fire, and full-length french windows that open onto the garden and your own private heated swimming pool. We are a dog friendly property with enclosed garden.
Whether you’re here for a family summer holiday, a landmark birthday, a winter escape, or simply some long-overdue time together — we’d love to have you.
The pool is heated and open from April to October each year (exact dates on request). The water is maintained at approximately 27°C during this period.

Kingham is a village that the Sunday Times once called ‘the country’s favourite village’ — and it’s easy to see why.
Walk across the playing fields and you’ll find the Wild Rabbit and the Kingham Plough, two of the region’s finest gastropubs. A gentle uphill track leads to Daylesford Organic Farm Shop and the Bamford Wellness Spa. And beyond that, the whole of the Cotswolds opens up: Chipping Norton, Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, and more.
Regular trains run to London Paddington in under 90 minutes. The house is also easy to reach by road from the A44 or A40.
