Happy New Year to all you staycation travellers! It’s been a cold start to 2023 but we’ve already been busy at Cotswolds Country House, hosting guests and providing amazing Cotswold experiences at our 4 bedroom self catering holiday property accommodation house.

We’re already looking busy for the Spring and Summer holidays but it’s not too late to book your stay with us in Kingham. Our house is on the outskirts of the village, in the Cotswold Countryside, close to amazing walks and the best country pubs England holidays have to offer!

As well as summer holiday bookings (where you can take advantage of our brilliant swimming pool in the garden!), our house is perfectly located on the border of Oxfordshire / Gloucestershire (between Chipping Norton and Stow on The Wold) for the Cheltenham Festival in March. We’ve still got availability in March - even on the Friday for Gold Cup Day - and have got a special offer for guests looking to stay for three nights while the Festival of horse racing at Cheltenham is on. You can save 30% if you book three or more nights accommodation at our holiday home during this time. It’s under one hour in a taxi (which we can help you arrange) to and from the racecourse, or just over an hour on the train, with mainline connections from Kingham to London and Worcester - so it’s perfect if you’re looking for a house or self catering accommodation for Cheltenham Festival that is in a wonderful village (Kingham) with two brilliant pubs in walking distance.

Don’t forget that summer in Kingham is like nowhere else in the Cotswolds. It’s the perfect place to explore Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire and Worcestershire, with Daylesford Farm just up the road and gastropubs in beautiful market towns and villages like Stow on the Wold, Moreton in Marsh, Woodstock and Charlbury within touching distance!
